It would make a great Cinderella Story’, but I wouldn’t bet my boottm dollar on it sorry. Here’s why:Odds are, in my opinion, they’ll end up playing someone big and tough like Atlanta, and I just think the Braves will be representing the National League this year in the World Series. If they get lucky and come up against someone like San Diego in the first round, I would certianly say the Reds would prevail, but again I think in the next round the Braves would best them. To answer your question, yes it would be nice if they won it all, and on paper it seems like a long shot, but remember, anything can happen in the playoffs. I am a die-hard New York Yankees fan, but if my Yankees couldn’t win it this year, I would certainly hope the Reds win it all. This may sound on coming from a New York fan, but I have a real soft spot for the little guy. I’d like to see the Reds plays Atlanta in the first round, sweep them. Play St. Louis in the second round, sweep them, and finally lose a hard fought series to New York in the World Series.
