cluck cluck cluck…

Filed under: Daily life, babies, holidays

Why oh why are my baby making/carrying/birthing days over? I SO want another baby. I know, I hear you all gasping at the prospect. Don’t worry, I’m neutered.

Kelly came around today after we had gone walking, with the beautiful Lexie. Gorgeous little pudding pie!

Thought you might all like to see a photo of her. She is almost three months old now. Born by caesarean. Kelly went through so much to have this little cherub! Gorgeous, don’t you think?

I tried not to hold her…I did! I knew as soon as I touched that soft baby skin that my heart would skip a beat. Let’s face it, I am just one big mother hen, cluck cluck clucking my way through this life!

Ok, holiday update; As of today we are NOT going to Fiji. *SIGH* After some consideration we have decided that we will go to Queensland in the third week of September. While I am very disappointed in this I will make the most of it. Hope it’s warm up there because it’s bloody freezing here. We could all use some sun, fun and laughter right about now.

Happy Birthday to my dear friend Carolyn!!! Hope you had a wonderful day! The world is a better place with you in it.

  11. I am having senocd thoughts about our bitter’ little college journalist fitting in at the failing newspaper in Minneapolis. He can probably do just as well at the liberal/leftist Raleigh News & Observer. If they go out of business, that will be an even better fit.

  12. My doctor rencltey put me on a low carb diabetic diet. I am not a diabetic yet. I have a very high insulin resistance in which he wants to treat with diet and exercise and diabetic meds. I have been charting everything I eat, the calories, the fat grams, the carbs, fiber and protein. However, since my carbs have decreased, it seems that my fat intake has increased at least it seems that way in the pie chart. Is it possible to reduce the fat AND carbs? The doc wants me under 35 carbs a day which is extremely hard to do as it is. It seems like the lower fat foods have a higher carb content and the higher fat foods have a lower carb content. I am concerned about my blood lipids, blood pressure and overall heart health. I would greatly appreciate any tips or advice you may have to offer. Thanks!Oh, the reason I am so insulin resistant is due to the PCOS that I was diagnosed with a year ago. It’s sypmtoms have started to take over my body very quickly and has deemed me infertile, unless I can drop and control my insulin levels ASAP.

  13. I wish to express my appreciation to the writer for bailing me out of this particular trouble. Just after looking out through the world wide web and seeing tricks which were not helpful, I figured my entire life was gone. Living without the presence of solutions to the difficulties you’ve fixed all through your post is a critical case, as well as those which could have in a negative way damaged my entire career if I hadn’t encountered your web site. Your actual training and kindness in handling almost everything was very useful. I’m not sure what I would have done if I had not come upon such a solution like this. I’m able to at this point look forward to my future. Thanks so much for this impressive and result oriented help. I will not be reluctant to propose your web blog to any person who ought to have direction about this matter.
